When she’s not documenting families and weddings all over the world or encouraging others to follow their photographic dreams and goals, you can find her singing “You Are My Sunshine” to her two young daughters, exploring the wonder of her national park home (currently the Grand Canyon, Arizona), keeping her park ranger husband organized, or dreaming up ways to best illustrate the emotional themes of motherhood, connections, and family.
Because how you interact with each other is the most irreplaceable thing about who you are together.
Courtney Larson
For as long as she can remember, Courtney Larson has been a storyteller. As a child she scribbled the stories she could but dream about. She then spent the early part of her 20's in England sharing God's story before settling in Phoenix, Arizona where she met a redhead and became a mother to three beautiful, exhausting children. Now she feels honored to share your story through photography.
She has written the successful book Finding Freedom in Chaos: The Art of On-location Storytelling and was recently named one of the 100 Photographers to Watch in 2016 by Click & Company. She has been featured in Click Magazine, and won numerous award including Finalist Award two-years running in the Voice Competition.
